Welcome to the Wobbly Potter @ Rattery. I am an amateur potter who is has been working with clay for 7 years. I have recently given up nursing after 30 years and am working as a full time potter, I take my inspiration from the beautiful South Hams where I live, whether up on the moors or down on the coast. Working with clay has been my mindful activity when the stress of work has got a bit much. Since moving to Devon I have had the wonderful opportunity to express myself in clay and would love to share that opportunity with other people.

I have an open studio and you are welcome to come in and watch me work. I sell my work from my studio and you can also commission work.

CLASSES WE OFFER
Learn and Grow
THROWING CLASSES
​
​For up to 3 people, £50 per person for 2 hours, includes glazing and firing. If more than one class is booked, price drops to £45pp.
HAND BUILDING
Learn hand building techniques such as coiling and slab work. £40 for 2 hrs plus firing and glazing, minimum age 16yrs.
INDEPENDENT STUDIO
Use of the studio for more experienced potters with advice on hand, £35 for 2hrs plus firing and glazes.Unfortunately I cannot fire work that has been made off site.
