WHAT IS THE RATTERY POTTERY?

The Rattery Pottery is a unique place to come and have fun with clay.  Here I provide classes and experiences for complete beginners and provide a space for people who already work with clay.

It is also a shop front for my own pottery, The Wobbly Potter @ Rattery, inspired by the beautiful country around me and the changing seasons.

At The Rattery Pottery I want to offer classes that have an emphasis on fun and relaxation - an opportunity to express yourself in clay.  I so often hear people say they are not artistic, but when they are given a lump of clay to work with, it's almost like going back to childhood and people are amazed by what they can achieve. Fundamentally, it's playing with mud!

I also offer a space where people with some experience with clay can come and work and extend their knowledge in a collaborative atmosphere.
